WELCOME BSM ONLINE BATCH 04

Transition to Online Training: A Transformative Journey

Over the past three years, the Berean School of Ministry (BSM) has undergone a significant transformation, shifting to an online training format. This transition, driven by necessity and innovation, has allowed the School to continue fulfilling its mission in an evolving world. In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, BSM Online was launched in 2021 to sustain the vital work of church planting and building.

The benefits of this digital shift have been remarkable. By embracing online training, BSM has expanded its reach, making theological education more accessible to a diverse group of learners. The flexibility of the program enables students to balance their commitments while actively engaging in their studies. Interactive tools and resources foster collaboration and connections, bridging distances and strengthening the learning experience.

BSM Online serves a wide range of participants, including:

  • Prospective Church Planters – Individuals preparing to establish new churches.
  • Missionaries – Those with an apostolic calling to plant churches in mission fields.
  • Local Church Disciples and Leaders – Disciples and leaders serving within their church communities.
  • Professionals – Individuals who see their workplaces as mission fields and are called to minister while continuing their careers. The online format accommodates professionals both in the Philippines and abroad.
  • Local Church Pastors – Pastors who stepped into leadership roles without formal theological training.

Continued Growth in Enrollment

Since its inception, BSM Online has experienced steady growth, beginning with 40 students in Batch 1 (SY 2021-2022). Enrollment numbers have continued to rise:

  • Batch 2 (SY 2022-2023): 71 graduates
  • Batch 3 (SY 2023-2024): 91 graduates

Now, BSM proudly welcomes Batch 4 of its online program. As they embark on their training journey, we pray that they will be empowered by God’s strength, provision, and resilience. May they grow in faith and leadership as they prepare to plant churches or serve their communities and beyond.
