After 10 months, Batch 21 students relax and smile on graduation day.

CANDID SHOTS WITH GS REY

Among the many graduating students in the many Assemblies of God ministerial training institutions nationwide,  BSM graduates have the unique privilege to pose for some candid shots with the PGCAG General Superintendent Rev. Rey Calusay and his wife Zeny. Being Director of BSM and in the midst of his many commitments,  Rev. Calusay always find way to be home in Roxas City for the graduation ceremony of this ministerial training school based in his church,  the  First Assembly Roxas Missions, Inc.

GRADUATES SHARE JOY WITH BSM PARTNERS

The ministry of training church planters through BSM is made possible because of  our faithful partners:  sending  churches, sponsors and wiling parents.  These groups are represented in the crowd who shared the joy with the graduates  after the graduation ceremony.

GRADUATION PIECE: IT WASN’T EASY BUT IT IS WORTH IT

The BSM 21st graduation day fell on a Good Friday. Inspired by the willing sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, Rev. Zeny Calusay penned a  speech choir piece for the graduating class just two days before the graduation day. The time for practice was very short, but the message of the piece was delivered passionately by the graduates.

Not Easy

The Graduating class managed to have a practice before the processional:

GRANTING OF CERTIFICATES TO BSM BATCH 21

Mrs. Annahbelle Calusay, BSM Registrar presented  to BSM Director Rev. Reynaldo Calusay  the  graduating students legible to receive certificates.  Berean School of Ministry grants two levels of Certificates:
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION – means student has satisfactorily completed all the Academic and Ministerial Competency Requirements of Berean School of Ministry for Church planters. The certificate is an endorsement to full time ministry as church planter and pastor.
CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE – means an endorsement to serve in support ministry and granted with provisions for further equipping measures.

GRADUATES CHARGED TO BE CHALLENGED BY SATURATION CHALLENGE

Rev. Rey Calusay culminated his charge to the graduates with his signature statement: `Be challenged by Saturation Challenge’. Saturation Challenge is the PGCAG vision to see an Assemblies of God church planted in every city, town and barangay of the nation of the Philippines. There can be no more appropriate challenge to give to the graduates who are placed to be the pioneer pastors in several of the churches to be planted this summer of 2013 through SOS.

After the charge, the graduates were consecrated to the Lord and to His work. The BSM teachers were joined by other attending pastors and FARM elders in praying for the new additions to the work force of the Lord of the Harvest.

BESTOWING OF CLOAKS OF SERVANTHOOD TO BATCH 21

Every graduating students is bestowed with a cloak of servanthood by Rev. Rey  Calusay …as a reminder
…..of the apostle Pauls’ words     in Philippians 2:5-8 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:  Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
…..of the very words of  our Master Jesus Christ Himself:
A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
