PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY

The first and foundational course taught in BSM is Philosophy of Ministry  by Rev. Rey Calusay.

Believing that outlook determines outcome, this course is about a biblical way of looking at things that will affect the way people do things, especially when applied to life and ministry
Purpose: To walk the student through the eight major ministry principles affecting his/her service to God, and to help each student formulate his own personal ministry-philosophy and life-convictions which are essential to the practice of ministry.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Student will discover the biblical principles of God-centered ministry that God has designed for all who serve Him.
2. Student will formulate his/her personal sets of convictions about major aspects of life and ministry that he/she could use.
3. Student will be able to discuss the effects of these principles in actual ministerial life.
4. Student will appreciate a divine view of ministry as opposed to a worldly/earthly view.

MEASUREMENT TESTS

Before the process is started, the raw material should first be analyzed. We need to know where the students are so we can better help them throughout the training process in BSM. So we give measurement tests in Doctrinal Knowledge, English Proficiency and Comprehension level.
