BSM 24 GET ROYAL RANGERS TRAINING

Our students participated in the Royal Rangers Training held here at Farm after our church Senior Pastor Rev. Rey Calusay  adopted the  program of the missions endeavor of the Assemblies of God. Royal Rangers International (RRI) is a doorway to action and adventure for young people in nearly 100 nations of the world. RRI is a mentoring program and tool that men and boys, serving together, can use to evangelize their world, equip their next generation of Christlike men and empower them to become lifelong servant leaders.  The purpose of the training is  to nationally qualify instructors to teach Ranger Basics (RB), and Ranger Essentials (RE), and RMA continuous learning electives in order to ensure that highly competent instructors who reflect favorably on Royal Rangers conduct training. Certification will be provided through the region  in cooperation with the local districts.

AGREE DISAGREE

The BSM men take opposite sides of a given  question and engaged in a discussion. The activity was  intended to give them practice on being deliberate in taking the positive roles in participating in a discussion. The ladies listened and identified the roles each participant played: Initiator, information-giver, harmonizer or clarifier. There were some who were identified to have played the negative roles of antagonizer and dominator. But for sure, they did it  for fun.

BASIC STUDY SKILLS FUN TEST

In BSM, students learn the value of tests. They understand that a test is designed to measure learning. Hence, a test question calls for something a student must do to prove  his learning. To answer a test question correctly, they have to identify the ‘action’ called for them to do. This is what these pictures are all about.

BSM 24 ACQUAINTANCE PARTY

One more time , FARM welcomes another batch of Berean students . The 25  students who are now Batch 24 came  all the way from Aklan, Iloilo, Antique, Bacolod, Cebu, Caloocan, Cavite, Albay, Compustela Valley, Eastern Samar, Iligan City, Tacloban City, Bohol and even as far as the island of the “Lateen Sails”- Guam. Seven out of  25   students are faithful members of FARM.  The students  were gladly welcomed by no other than Philippine General Council of the Assembly of God  General Superintendent and Berean School Director Rev. Rey Calusay and Berean Academic Dean Rev. Zenaida Calusay.   Before his flight to Australia that afternoon,  Rev. Rey Calusay left  a message for the students to study hard and be serious throughout  the period of the BSM  training. The  staff and the students enjoyed the   acquaintance lunch  plus the games and song and dance numbers rendered by the students.  The occasion was a part of the Community Life in  BSM.
