SEVENTY 0NE STUDENTS FINISH AS BSM ONLINE BATCH 2
Seventy-one men and women dared to face the challenges of Online training: they are the BSM Online Batch 2 (twice in number of BSM Online Batch 1) and the 29th Batch of students since we started Berean School of Ministry in 1986. As each will stand on stage with the certificate in hand, will know the real meaning of the BSM Line – “Only those who dare to go too far can hope to know how far they can go.” Surely, each will say “I am glad I dared!” Several will have a greater sense of fulfillment as they will receive their well-earned awards.

ABRAHAM TO JESUS
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
A study of the history of God’s chosen people from the call of Abraham to the restoration period. A final lesson is on the developments during the intertestamental times in preparation for the coming of Jesus, the Messiah. Historical, geographical as well as relevant archaeological notes will be considered at appropriate portions of the study. The course aims to cause students to see the Unfolding of God’s Redemption Plan

SOME GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the basic sequence of periods in Israel’s national history.
- Know principles of success and failure as exemplified in the events and characters of men that God used in His plan.
- Demonstrate understanding how Jesus, the promised Redeemer of mankind was brought about through the Jewish race.
- Demonstrate understanding how God and His character is revealed through His words and acts while dealing with His people.
- Have attitude of trust seeing God’s plan in faithfulness to His promises.
- Demonstrate attitude of worship to God who has caused His redemption plan to be unfolded in the pages of the Bible.

Inductive Bible Study “Oral Style”
People forget facts, but they never forget a great story. Stories have always been a primary means of communication. They are timeless links to ancient traditions, world views, belief systems and cultural values. The Bible is 70 percent stories. This course will walk the student through the process of “Inductive Bible Study “Oral Style” using the “Simply the Story” approach. This approach is effective because it helps people experience the story as they discover fresh and powerful treasures of the Word of God in the stories.

DISTINCTLY PENTECOSTAL
A biblical and historical study on the distinct characteristics of Pentecostals, as a church body with dynamism, direction, and a destiny for the present evangelization of the world, in the present move of the Holy Spirit. This study shows that the Pentecostals’ showing how their beliefs and practices are rooted and grounded in the Scriptures and in the model of the New Testament Church of the apostolic era. Includes a historical survey of the 20th century Pentecostal Movement in general, and of the Assemblies of God in particular. We will trace from church history that the Power of the Holy Spirit, the supernatural, never left the church.

BEGINNINGS – FIRST BIBLE COURSE FOR THE SCHOOLYEAR
BEGINNINGS
Early Biblical History is mainly an analysis of the first eleven chapters of the first book of the Bible focusing on beginnings. Hence, the course is promoted with the title “BEGINNINGS”. This is a foundational course for the student’s later study of the rest of the written revelation of God’s redemption plan. An introductory lesson will give the student the correct perspective of history in general and of Bible history in particular. Some theological truths and doctrines about God and His dealings with man will be highlighted. Some relevant facts, geographic and archeological data and will also be considered
